Start the day off with a trip to the beautiful Featherdale Wildlife Park to get up close and personal with some of the native wildlife of Australia. Spend the morning cuddling koalas, petting kangaroos, and playing with wombats, and then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Blue Mountains restaurant (at an additional cost of 15 dollars).
After lunch, make your way to the Wentworth Falls area and the townships of Leura and Katoomba, cross the stunning Leura Cascades, and enjoy a scenic drive along the cliffs and some spectacular views of Kings Tableland. Next, those in small coaches can pay a visit to Cahill’s Lookout to see the famous Boars Head Rock and the beautiful Megalong and Jamison Valleys, from where the tour will continue to the Echo Point to see the world-famous ‘Three Sisters’ as well as Australia’s ‘Grand Canyon’.
Before the day is done, pay a visit to Scenicworld to ride the Scenic Railway, Skyway and SceniSender (at own expense), and ride the world’s steepest incline railway down to the elevated timber boardwalk and meander through the picturesque rain forest before beginning the journey back to the Sydney Harbor.
