Tour Details

You will trek along the water buffalo trails and cross some stunning terraces, stay overnight in the village with the tribe people, learn their unique culture & tradition. This tour has a lot of amazing challenges to offer.

Itinerary

Day 1Hanoi-Lao Cai

You will depart from Hanoi aboard the overnight train to Laocai in the Northern of Vietnam. Catch some sleep in 4-person soft berth deluxe comfort with Air- conditioner.

Day 2Sapa-Catcat-Ylinhho-Laochai-Tavan (B, L, D)

Arrive in the early morning; you will be met by our tour guide at Laocai station for the private transfer to the town of Sapa. Enjoy a hearty breakfast in town before setting off on the trek. We will start from Sapa town with the trek down to Catcat village where we will be warmly welcome by the Black H’Mong community. Afterward we will follow the stunning river of Muong Hoa from Ylinhho to the village of Laochai & Tavan which are inhabited by the H’mong and the Zay tribes. We will stop along the way for photo opportunities and enjoy our picnic lunch in this stunning valley amongst the nature. Tonight, we will spend a night in Ta Van village with a local family and take ample opportunity to learn about the Zay culture and way of life, whilst enjoying a traditional meal

Day 3Tavan-Giangtachai-Supan-Banho-Sapa-Laocai-Hanoi (B-L-D)

After the breakfast, we will say goodbye to our host and continue our trek to visit the Red Dzao tribe at Giang Ta Chai. Stop at a local waterfall for a refreshment and picnic lunch. We then continue our walk along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa river and trek up to Supan where we will walk down hill to Ban Ho village where we will have chance to interact with the Tay tribe, enjoy some tea in their beautiful house built on stilt and visit this surrounding area. In the afternoon, our driver will pick you up for the transfer to Lao Cai town where we will have a day use room for shower before enjoying your diner in one of the local restaurant. Tonight, you will catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 4Hanoi Arrival

This morning you will be arrive in Hanoi at around 05.00AM; this is where your Sapa adventure ends.
